Male cockatiels whistles, brighter red patch on the cheek, has higher cock feather. but young male around 2mos old still resembles that of a female. Female on the other hand, has direct opposite of the male, dull color, shorter cock feathers, they usually whistle but less or no more especially if they had opposite sex with them and they might feel something is wrong. breeding them is easy, just a quiet environment, proper diet and sunlight. thats how i do it before they breed.

Have you ever thought of letting your birds fly free? Great is that feeling of letting your avian companion fly freely as a bird should.

For me, freeflying your parrots is the highest form of bond for your parrot, you have to learn to trust your parrot in this activity.

Swift

Swifts are the most aerial of birds and some, like the Common Swift, even sleep and mate on the wing. Larger species, such as White-throated Needletail, are amongst the fastest flyers in the animal kingdom. One group, the Swiftlets or Cave Swiftlets have developed a form of echolocation for navigating through dark cave systems where they roost. One species, Aerodramus papuensis has recently been discovered to use this navigation at night outside its cave roost also.
